Happy Earth Day!

It's amazing to me that the Creator would ask us to cultivate and be good stewards of this planet earth. He must have way more confidence in our ability then I would have!

    I have aways gotten a little (or a lot)frustrated with conservatives/Christians who mock the idea of being "green" or "tree hugging" and feel self-righteous in their view point, when actually taking care of the earth and animals, etc. was one of the very firt assignments God gave us as humans. I know allot of their issues with "tree huggers" is ofcourse coming from human's tendancy to get unbalanced and obsess with anything they believe in. But it usually results in swinging to the other dirrection of not taking any steps to be good stewards, and I get ridiculed for recycling, etc. Just as off balanced, and lame. (but to be fair- I get frustrated with the hyper focus and trendyness that is the current green movement too. But if some good is done and awareness comes from it...)
